Advisory Board
The E-Price research progress will be thoroughly discussed with an Advisory Board on a regular basis. The Advisory Board members are experts with many years of experiences in the relevant aspects of power systems studied in E-Price: energy productions and consumption, transmission, regulation, markets, system operation and European cooperation and crossborder activities.
Both Mr. Hawkins and Mr. Giesbertz are currently employed by large energy companies involved in both electric energy production as well as trading of electric energy. They have key positions in departments dealing with markets, trading, and production and as such they form the required complement of the experience that is already present in the E-Price consortium. Moreover, their past experiences contribute to an integrated overview of technology of production and transmission, regulation, system operation, markets and trading. Both have already shown their commitment and willingness to stimulate and contribute.

The Florence School of Regulation (FSR) is a well established and highly acknowledged European forum dedicated to economic regulation where policy and business decision-makers, regulators, regulated companies and academics from different countries who are involved in regulation can meet, allowing to develop cross-country issues as well as comparing national experiences and country specific regulatory problems. For E-price the Energy sector of the FSR which by partnership is linked to the Council of the European Energy Regulators (CEER), is very relevant. Regulation is the key aspect that will enable E-Price developed concepts to be implemented. To have Mr Glanchant as director of the FSR be a member of the E-Price Advisory Board the project has the best possible channel to obtain input for guidance of the research and realize dissemination of E-Price results towards key policy making parties.
