The University of Zagreb (UNIZAG) is the oldest and biggest university in South-Eastern Europe. With its comprehensive programmes and over 50,000 full-time undergraduate and postgraduate students the University is the strongest teaching and research institution in Croatia. UNIZAG plays a leading national role in education, in attracting researchers and Master students, in promoting and establishing research excellence in a number of strategically selected research areas. UNIZAG is continuously building on its education and research quality, further extending its contributions to the society in large, and takes an increasingly visible part in international scientific community.
Control Systems Group from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture of the University of Zagreb (UNIZAG-FSB) will participate in this project. The Control Systems group has an extensive expertise in the field of control system design for complex dynamical systems. The team has been involved in a number of international, national and industrial projects. Among others, active research areas of the group include distributed control of large-scale power systems, control of distributed generation in microgrids, integration of hybrid and electric vehicles in electrical power system, energy efficient control of complex dynamical systems.
